Hi, my name is Lindsay. I am fourteen years old and in grade eight at Brookswood Secondary. I’ve been riding since I was 6 ½. Riding brought a huge smile to my face and I knew it was something I would always want to do! I started off riding a 12.2h, bay mare named Lady. She was a great confidence builder and I loved her. I later grew out of her and moved on to a few other school horses. This included Delilah, a 15h Chestnut mare which my mom and dad later bought and surprised my sister and I on Christmas in 2002.

Delilah taught me a lot (including how to stay on big bucks!) We moved Delilah to Harmony Farms in November 2003. We worked and worked and were ready for our first Pre-Green event! When the next event season rolled around, we moved up to green and did very well! Another event season came and we moved up to Pre-Training! It was so much fun and we did very well! Still growing, I moved on to a new/current horse, Calico Blue. He is a 16.2h grey, Thoroughbred gelding. I still ride Delilah, but I am mostly focusing on Blue and getting him ready for eventing.

Blue is challenging, but very fun!! My goals for him are to keep working hard and get him ready for this event season. He is a very athletic horse and I hope to be able to move up the levels on him.
